This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Make sure your health care provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least 1 business day before your medical service or item. Unfortunately, due to our contractual agreements with insurance companies, we are not permitted to reduce, waive, or alter any fees for our insured clients. <\/p>\n<\/li><li><h4>\u00a0Is my online\/telehealth session still confidential? <\/h4><p>Your session is completely confidential. We utilize a secure, HIPAA compliant video conferencing platform at all times and our session is conducted in a private setting. We suggest that you pick a spot where others cannot overhear you and you are not at risk of being interrupted during our session. If we\u2019re alerted to another person entering your space during our session, we will immediately stop talking to protect your privacy.<\/p><\/li><li><h4>Can I still have my telehealth session if I\u2019m outside of the state or country?\u00a0<\/h4><p>Unfortunately, due to state licensing differences, we are not always able to provide services to a client who is in a different state than their provider. Please check with our intake team ahead of time to ensure that your provider is able to legally practice in the state that you will physically be located in at the time of your session while you\u2019re traveling. Because other countries do not govern our professional licenses, we are often able to continue seeing our clients who are traveling abroad.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p><\/li><li><h4>What is your cancellation policy?<\/h4>We ask that our clients cancel their appointments at least 24 hours in advance of their scheduled visit in order to avoid a late cancellation in the amount of $100. This is necessary because our providers make an exclusive time commitment to you for the duration of your visit. Without enough notice, it is likely we will be unable to fill that open spot for your provider.<\/li><li><h4>How do I cancel a session if I\u2019m unable to make it? <\/h4><p> There are several ways to cancel your visit if you\u2019re unable to attend. We do not complete disability documentation, but with your consent we can provide you with a letter with the dates in which you were seen and your diagnosis code or we can forward your session notes and\/or a treatment summary to the necessary entity.<\/p><\/li><li><h4>How do I request copies of my records?<\/h4><p>Requesting records is easy! We will send you a records request form to complete via the client portal and, once completed, we will get those over to you!<\/p><\/li><li><h4>Do you provide court and legal services?\u00a0 <\/h4><p>Yes we do. We can provide substance abuse and DUI\u00a0 assessments as well as written progress updates to probation officers, judges, case managers, and other legal entities.<\/p><\/li><\/ul>\n<p><b>You have the right to receive a \u201cGood Faith Estimate\u201d explaining how much your medical care will cost.<\/b><b><br><\/b>Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don\u2019t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.<\/p> <ul> <li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\">You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees.<\/li> <li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\">Make sure your health care provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least 1 business day before your medical service or item. You can also ask your healthcare provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service.<\/li> <li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\">If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.
